Why Do Some Kids Struggle with Focus, Behaviour, or Big Emotions?
A free workshop for parents looking for supportive, practical guidance.
If your child has trouble focussing, sitting still, or managing big emotions, you’re not alone.
Many parents can sense that something feels “off,” but aren’t sure where to start. This workshop is designed to help you better understand some of the common factors that can influence your child’s focus, behaviour, and emotional regulation.
In this free session, we’ll explore how things like nutrition, sleep, gut health, daily habits, and nervous system support may play a role in your child’s overall well-being — and share practical, realistic strategies that families can begin to explore in everyday life.
What You’ll Learn
Why some children may experience challenges with focus and emotional regulation
How food and blood sugar can influence mood and attention
The connection between gut health, the immune system, and the brain
Why sleep can play an important role in behaviour and resilience
Simple, practical strategies that may help support your child day-to-day
Who This Workshop Is For
This workshop is for parents who:
Feel like something may be going on, but aren’t sure where to begin
Want a more holistic and practical perspective on children’s health
Are looking for supportive strategies around focus, behaviour, mood, and overall well-being
Want to better understand how everyday foundations like sleep, nutrition, and routines can affect their child
A Supportive, Educational Session for Parents
This workshop is designed to feel approachable, informative, and reassuring.
You do not need to have any prior experience with naturopathic care to attend. Whether you’re just beginning to look into support for your child or simply wanting to learn more, this session is intended to offer helpful education in a warm and practical way.

Emotional Eating (May 2026)
Emotional Eating
Natural Route Health is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom group meeting with Zoe Klein.
We’re inviting you to a brief, supportive workshop focused on the emotional side of eating — especially for women navigating medical conditions, hormonal changes, and the ongoing demands of daily life.
Many people living with conditions such as thyroid disorders, PCOS, hormonal imbalances, chronic stress, or medical dietary needs notice that eating becomes emotionally charged. This workshop is designed to help you understand why that happens and how to respond with care — without adding more rules, guilt, or pressure.
In this 30-minute therapist-led session, we will explore:
How stress, hormones, and emotional load affect eating patterns
Why emotional eating often increases during medical treatment or dietary changes
How to recognize emotional needs that show up around food
Simple ways to communicate needs and ask for support
Tools for emotional regulation when food choices are medically limited
This workshop does not promote restrictive eating or non-diet approaches. It supports men and women who are following medical nutrition guidance while also needing emotional support, relief, and understanding.

REMS Bone Health Screening Clinic
Are You Thinking About Your Bone Health Early Enough?
Most people reach their peak bone mass around age 30. After that, bone density and quality gradually decline — yet traditional bone scans are often not recommended until age 65.
That’s why we’re collaborating with OSTEOSOUND at Natural Route Health on March 25 for a REMS bone health screening clinic.
REMS (Radiofrequency Echographic Multi-Spectrometry) is an innovative, Health Canada–approved ultrasound technology that evaluates bone health without radiation and can be used as early as age 21.
What makes REMS different?
✔ Measures Bone Mineral Density (BMD)
✔ Evaluates bone quality with a Fragility Score
✔ Provides 5-year fracture risk assessment
✔ Immediate detailed results
✔ No physician referral required
You may benefit from earlier bone screening if you have:
Perimenopause or menopause
Family history of osteoporosis
Low body weight
Digestive conditions affecting nutrient absorption
Past eating disorders
Thyroid, liver, or kidney disease
Long-term steroid use
Low testosterone
Certain medications or lifestyle factors
