Community Acupucture

Affordable, effective, and rooted in tradition—healing together, in community.

At Natural Route Health, we are excited to now offer Community Acupuncture—a welcoming and accessible way to experience the benefits of acupuncture in a peaceful, shared healing space. In this model, treatments are provided in a quiet group setting, with patients relaxing in comfortable chairs while remaining fully clothed. This format makes frequent acupuncture treatments more affordable and sustainable for many people, while fostering a collective sense of calm and wellbeing.

What is Community Acupuncture?

Community acupuncture offers individualized acupuncture care within a group environment. By using distal acupuncture techniques—needling points on the arms, legs, ears, and head—our practitioners can treat a wide range of concerns without requiring patients to disrobe. This approach is rooted in traditional acupuncture lineages and supported by modern methods.

Why Choose Community Acupuncture?

  • Affordability – We offer treatments at a reduced cost, making acupuncture more accessible to more people.

  • Efficiency – Group settings allow us to accommodate more patients while maintaining individualized care.

  • Comfort – Patients remain fully clothed and relax in recliners in a calm, low-light environment.

  • Accessibility – Ideal for ongoing care and preventative wellness, especially for stress, pain, fatigue, sleep concerns, and mood support.

What to Expect

  • Each visit includes a brief intake (5-10 minutes) with our Acupuncturist, Laura Burns.

  • You’ll be seated in a shared space and remain clothed throughout.

  • Treatments typically last 30-45 minutes.

  • We use single-use, sterile needles and follow all required CTCMPAO safety and hygiene protocols.

  • Your session will be quiet and restful—many patients choose to nap or listen to music during their treatment!

Cost & Booking

$65 for a 30-45mins treatment. The first 5-10mins are spent briefly discussing your concerns and goals.

Online booking is available, and walk-ins may be accommodated when space allows. Please wear loose-fitting clothing that allows access to your forearms, lower legs, and feet.

We are currently offering this once per month on Thursday afternoons starting at 2:15pm.
