WELCOME ANNA RIDER, NURSE PRACTITIONER

Here at NRH we pride ourselves on our ability to work within an integrative capacity. We truly believe that everyone should have a health team, which includes health care providers from all forms of medicine. That way, you can seek out the experts advice when you need it.

For many years we have been hoping to find someone who would bridge the local gap we have between both conventional and traditional medical models. And now we’ve found her! With sheer joy and excitement we welcome integrative health Nurse Practitioner Anna Rider.

Anna has over twenty years of experience as a nurse practitioner in many clinical settings such as the Hospital for Sick Children, rural family medicine, community health centres and family health teams. She has also taught at Queen’s University in the Primary Health Care Nurse practitioner program.

Her private practice uses a functional medical approach to treat both women and men’s hormone concerns and autoimmune conditions. She has done advanced training in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and the use of desiccated thyroid hormone.

Anna prides herself on treating each individual uniquely. It’s not a one-size fits all approach! Some of Anna’s services are also covered through OHIP: blood work & imaging for example.
